About Reiki
Reiki comes from two Japanese words: "rei" meaning mystery or spirit and "ki"
meaning life force energy and it is followed around the world.
It is an energy healing method practiced since the 1800's and is used widely in
hospitals, aged homes and other healing facilities to assist in healing.
Reiki allows us to tap into our natural ability to connect with love and our inner wisdom. It activates the relaxation response in the body and allows the body to be able to balance itself.
No one knows how Reiki works, but it is a conduit which allows positive energy to flow into the body through the hands of the practitioner.
Scientifically it has been shown that Reiki decreases pain levels, speeds up the healing process and relaxes the mind and body allowing emotional stability and consciousness.
During a session you will always be fully clothed and a light touch of hands, or they may be held above the body to conduct energy to your body.
Reiki can never harm you!
I am also a Crystal Healing Practitioner and I use crystals as part of my Reiki Sessions.
Crystals are beautiful gifts from the Earth that act as healing conduits to the divine energy
of the Universe and makes them an amazing healing tool to use in conjunction with Reiki
and other modalities.
